A familiar heart silhouette provides the starting point for the Heart Earrings. Oliver Hampel abstracts that structure into a graphic, playful piece of wearable sculpture. Nylon makes the dimensional form remarkably light, allowing greater scale and detail without the weight of a comparable all-metal piece. The nylon is hand-dyed, so subtle color variations are part of the individual character of each piece.
